"Dino" completed his B.Sc. with Physics honours from St. Xavier's College, Calcutta University in 2008. He completed a M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay) in 2010. He joined Prof. John Perdew's group at Temple University, after transfering from LSU, Baton Rouge, in August 2014. He is currently a graduate student of Prof. Adrienn Ruzsinszky at Temple University, Philadelphia.
Research Interests
- Phase Transitions, Electronic and phonon related properties of Bulk and two dimensional materials
- Raman spectrum, STM image of 2D materials from first principle studies
- Combining variational monte carlo, Exact diagonalization etc. methods with DFT to obtain different properties of materials.
- RPA, kernel correction of GW, RPA and related studies
