Kanishka received his Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Peradeniya (Sri Lanka) in 2013.  After completing his B.Sc he came to Temple (Physics) for his graduate studies in the fall of 2013, and joined Dr. Xi’s group in the summer of 2015. 

Research Interests

• Growth and study of oxide thin films for Photoelectrochemical water splitting.
• Growth and study of 2-D trasition metal fractals grown at an aqueous air interface.
