Jonathan Fernandes is a student at Temple University persuing a dual major degree in Physics and Chemistry. His fields of interest are materials science and particle physics. Jonathan was working under Dr. Adrienn Ruzsinszky exploring the effects of mechanical stress on electronic properties of materials using the Vienna Ab Initio Simulation Package.
