Aaron Kaplan is pursuing a PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics with Prof. John Perdew. He graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Physics at Temple University in 2018, and began working with Prof. Perdew in the last year of his undergraduate career

Design of general-purpose, semi-local density functional approximations
Study of self-interaction errors, density driven errors, and delocalization errors in practical DFT
